Found your site while searching the great loop. We are currently in Chicago But originally from Cincinnati. My parents have property in Warsaw, Kentucky which you just passed through. Turtle Creek is our regular spot to stop for gas on the river. My dad owns a 1972 58’ Chris Craft Roamer. Love following boaters and hoping to do the great loop one day. Happy travels!
Aunt Claudia!!!! I have so been wanting to find you, and here you are living your absolute best life!!!
Grandmom gave me a phone number for you, so I will have to send you a text and see if it’s still a good number! They had a news story on about the lights at Interlochen in Arlington being turned on a couple of days ago and it made me think so fondly of you taking me there to see all the wondrous lights as a child! So, so many good memories with you!
I have really been missing you and think of you so often! It fills my heart with so much joy to see you are having such amazing adventures with such a cool husband! It looks like you all surface on land sometimes, so we will have to find out when you might be our way next so we can connect! I would love to see you and meet your amazing Captain!
Erik, Claudia, It was very nice meeting you two at the AGLCA meet in Ft. Myers. Your presentation was very informative and funny at times. Hope you continue to have a safe Great Loop. We hope to start out from Madeiria Beach , Fl. March of 2021, we’ll be on the lookout for STILL WATERS II.
Claudia & David
It was fun visiting with you 2 in the DQ parking lot yesterday. My Husband, Ken, now realizes that all he has to do is order me my usual. I will be interested to see if in the future you decide to transition to a MH to continue your travels on land. We are off to the Bar Harbor area today.

I’ve following your adventure since we met you in Pentwater, MI. What a journey! Seems like the weather could have cooperated more, but all in all, seemed like an adventure.
This is John and Lou Ann Jacobson from Minneapolis, MN. We’re following your blog from links forwarded to us by our family members Dan and Mary. We helped Dan and Mary one afternoon prepare the Gammel Dansk in Red Wing, MN this fall for their first Loop. Thanks for blogging and safe travels!
David and Claudia, I came across your blog through AGLCA. You are doing what my wife and I hope to be doing starting in about 18 months. Great information, please keep it up, and best of luck on your journey!
Great to meet you at the Fall Rendezvous. Chris & Beth Ensing / Pau Hana

Dave and Claudia,
We made it to Orillia today, it was raining and very wind most of the day.
Hope to cross Lake Simcoe tomorrow.
I’ve found the bakery and bought both Chelsea buns and tarts but haven’t tried them yet.
Great blog!
